World premiere of psychedelic musical Hail Cremation! presented by National Theatre Wales to open in spring 2020 at Newbridge Memo. Words and music by Jon Tregenna. Directed by Adele Thomas. Hail Cremation! celebrates the extraordinary life of the Welsh radical and cremation pioneer Dr William Price, featuring live music, dance and video. Robert Downey Jr’s role in the new Dolittle movie was inspired by Dr Price. The production would have opened at Newbridge Memo, Gwent, South Wales, on the 23 March to 4 April 2020. Unfortunately due to covid it was cancelled.
